Hey, there is some fairly lame reviews that seem to pop-up here and there about the upcoming Bionic Commando game, generally scored around 6 out of 10 (considered a little average/below average).
Given the lack of a 360 and additionally the lack of a Gold live account, I have not been able to play the 360 Bionic Commando multiplayer demo. What I have heard about criticism about it is that the controls aren't that great.
And hey, that's what it's sounding like for those reviews.
On the opposite side of the spectrum, those who played the demo and liked it have mentioned the controls, saying that they are pretty solid, but tricky. That's how it was with Bionic Commando Rearmed and the origional NES game: the controls are solid, but pretty tricky at first.
Again, I haven't played the game myself yet, so I'm not the greatest judge that "hey, this is good" or "hey, this is bad" or whatever, but I'm thinking that the reason why the scores aren't so great is because they are grappling with the controls, which were designed to be skill-based, just like the origional NES game and the remake.
I've already decided a while back that I'm going to buy this game anyways. I'm sure that if you already decided on buying the game, you won't be dettered by whatever not-so-great reviews pop up. I guess the point of this lame rambling blog post is just that you should take reviews with a grain of salt, and judge the game for yourself. After all, it's someone else's opinion, not yours.
