Good stuff.

But how about making a demo available for Wii users (via download like Metroid Prime 3 or on a disc)?

Anywhoo, looks like this game is going to be fun. I just hope it gets the exposure it deserves... among casuals especially. The type that don't visit websites and gaming sites like dedicated gamers do... They need to know about this game.

There should be a demo channel.

How else would game companies reach the millions of casual gamers that don't buy gaming magazines or visit gaming websites i the same way dedicated gamers do? A demo channel (or demo disc) is the way to go.
Creating websites for video games has always been an advertising favorite among many video gaming companies, but almost all of the time it never works because they just don't make the websites interactive enough.

An example of a very good video game website for advertising that is fully interactive would be this one. They mix many of the game elements and make it fully 3-D to allow you access of information about the game by unlocking it and such.
I noticed that the Zack & wiki website had a little bit of interactivity, with stuff you could move... but it would be cool if this stuff was some sort of hidden puzzle that unlocks a secret page or something.

The real problem is that there IS a demo channel. The nintendo channel was supposed to have 3rd party game demos present but yet again nintendo sort of dropped the ball on that one and its just marketing for Mario - Underwater basket weaving or whatever.

If Zack & Wiki stays around long enough it could be a slow to catch on seller but even the okami re-release didn't get a TON of sales. Sigh.

I think a Zack and Wiki sequel would fly off the shelves.  It has become a "cult classic" in a sense and people have really come to understand what it is and why it's so cool.

If they do release a sequel I hope they would make more things easily "skippable", or have an option to skip all the "help" videos and skip over some of the mandatory animations.  Because once you've played it more than once (and you WILL!), you really don't need to see all those things every time.

If you don't have the game yet, GO GET IT!  Best Wii experience EVER! :-)

It's one of the only non-girly games my 5 year old daughter would play (she scares easily) with me, and SHE actually got to think and figure out some of the harder puzzles with me, which made her feel great and I got to shower her with praises for figuring things out.  You can't put a price on that kind of family interaction/learning.  It really IS that good.
