30 years ago today, Nintendo released the 8-bit Famicom on an unsuspecting public. This magical machine would introduce millions of players to countless new worlds, memorable characters and unforgettable soundtracks, plus go on to find worldwide fame as the Nintendo Entertainment System.
To commemorate today’s anniversary, artist @Gengenkob drew this adorable, misty-eyed tribute to the system, complete with dozens of classic shout-outs.
Obviously we have Mega Man on the left, plus Arthur near the bottom and “Rad” Spencer swinging off the controller, but what other characters can you spot! Also, big props for bothering to put Stan the Bugman in there 😛
